MENTAL HEALTH TIP: Keeping a Gratitude Journal

In January I blogged about two practices that I use daily to help with my mental health.  One of them is keeping a gratitude journal.  Sometimes we get caught up in life being hectic, and focus on the negative.  When I reflect on the day, no matter how crazy it may have been, I am ALWAYS able to find something that I am grateful for.

Make this a routine that you follow.  At the end of the day, sit down and write 3 things that you are grateful for.  You will be amazed at the things that you end up writing down and are really important to you.  It's also a great reminder that life is pretty amazing when slow down enough to appreciate it!
